Content pillars aren’t a trend, they’re your secret weapon for making social media feel way less overwhelming. In this lesson, we’ll break down what pillars actually are (hint: it’s not just “educate, inspire, sell”), and how to create ones that make sense for your goals and your audience.

I’ll walk you through how to turn them into easy content buckets, where to find ideas, and my go-to formula for building a monthly plan you can actually stick to. The goal? To keep things consistent, purposeful, and way less stressful, so showing up online feels simple, not like a full-time job.

MODULE 3: Content Pillars & Planning

Take 10–15 minutes to answer these prompts in your notes or a journal:

  1. Goal Check: What’s your #1 goal for social media right now?
  2. Audience Check: Who is one customer persona you want to reach (name + pain point + goal)?
  3. Pillar Creation: Based on the above, what’s one content pillar you can create? (e.g. “Skincare Made Simple,” “Fitness That Fits Your Life”).
  4. 5P Lens: List one idea inside that pillar for each of the 5Ps (Position, People, Purpose, Proof, Personality).
  5. Repurpose: Take one of those ideas and quickly outline how you could turn it into 3–5 posts.
